I cant get pregnant

me and my boyfriend have been trying for a baby for 6 months and were both really excited but even though ive been late a few times and skipped 1 completely and had irregular periods and all the signs like sore boobs, nausea, going for a wee alot and even a swollen stomach and eating loads we keep getting a negative result were trying so hard but then my little sister who didn't want one to be begin with is now got 8 weeks left of her pregnancy and she's having a very healthy girl that there are calling chloe, what am i doing wrong for someone to get pregant before me when there not even trying and didnt really want one at first she thinks its because were thinking about it to much, we both really want the chance to be parents because weve both had a chance and it gone wrong with previous partners, i have a miscarriage 3 years ago and he had a kid about 5 or 6 years ago but he didnt know that she was pregnant until she had left he tried to look for her but she had just disapeared not even her parents or freinds knew where to find her they just knew that she was safe so he's never met his child, he cant be sure that it was even true that she was pregnant but weve both missed out so it means alot to us we just dont know where were going wrong

Huni get yourself checked out for Polycistic ovaries PCOS as it can cause irregular periods etc and can stop conception, so ask your doc to test for it!

Dont worry bout it hun you have only been trying 6 months it will happen when it happens i have been trying for 2 yrs have succeded a few times but have had 4 misscarriages all a week before my 13 week scan its just my bad luck but been checked over and apparently im ok to have children. My sister has just found out she is having twins, and she didnt want children ever so i was pretty upset but i just gotta keep hanging in there and it will happen when the time is rite. So don't worry yourself.xx

i don't want to put a damper on things but it can take upto about 2 years to be able to conceive. Have you got a regular cycle or irregular? There are various things to do that can help like taking your temp everyday bout the same time, ovulation sticks, fertility monitor. Wot can also do is talk to the doctor about it and they can give you advice to.
We've been trying for a year and half now ourselves so with 6 months you'ved still got plenty of time to try. I know it's hard each month thinking could this be it but you'ved got to try and not get too stressed out about it, it's only natural that we do but relaxing helps and try to enjoy yourself too.

thanx for the advice youve been really helpful its great to talk to someone thats gone through it aswell i hope you get lucky soon as i know how it feels every month when you realise this time isnt the time and have to keep waiting so must be hard for you after a year and a half its hard wen weve been trying so hard then my pregnant sister comes round and all she does is moan about being pregnant but id giv everything to be in her situation, and my brother has a daughter aswell keira she is 10 months old and he refuses to addmit shes his he dont even go and see her i wish i had that option

Thank you too. I'm the youngest of my family so all my brothers and sister has already got kids the eldest being in their early 20's too!. I love them to bits.
Wot is hard is seeing some of my friends that are couple years younger and they'ved got kids too. I just get on with it and i love them too.
yep it is hard at times but you keep going. So if ever you want to rant and rave go ahead i'll be here to listen to you anytime and you can private msg me too.
