Cerazette advice

Hiya i have been on cerazette nearly a year and seen the 2nd month i dont have a period. Things seem fine i have put some weight on but have always been on the big side!!
My problem is i have been on and off antibotics for months now after having mumps and now a tooth infection this time my dr did say these antibotics wont effect my pill but to me this dont seem right??? me and my soon to be husband did have sex thinking it would be ok but now i can not stop worrying. I did search and it says the antibotics can effect it it also says its less effective in overweight people which sadly i am!!! Am i right to be worried??

Hi there, whatever the dr said about antibiotics and the pill he is bloody stupid, I'ved worked in a chemist for 14 years and know that doesn't matter what pill or antibiotics you're on they all affect the pill that has nothing to do with your weight. so the pill is less effective.
do a test at home first and see what the results are but there is a possiblitiy that you could be. Depending on the results you should see your doctor and explain to him.
i hope everything goes alright for you. Also if you haven't done talk to your other half as well.
