Missed my pill for a month - a bit worried

Hi All,

My name is Kirsty and was hoping you could give me some advice. Im on Cilest and have been for a few years. I ran out of pill and didnt get it in time, so i took a month out, in which time i have had unprotected sex with my partner. Stupidly I really didnt think I would be able to get preg cos i was just off the pill for a month. What I thought was my period came on day 27 of my cycle, so i started taking my pill again, but it turned out not to be a full blown period but the smallest wee trickle that didnt even last half a day and was quite dark brown (sorry). So do you think im still waiting on a period or should i test? Trying not to get my self wound up. As much as me and my partner would both love to have a baby we are not in a financial position to go there. What do you think ladies?
