Unsure

HI all
I really need some help. I might just be stupid but here is my problem.

I took my pill 2 months in a row and ended my last packet on the 27th September. On the 9th October I showed signs of a period (dark brown goo as normal) but this only lasted for 2 days then nothing. Then on the 14th I showed signs of period again, this time bright red and again only last 2 days.

Its probably unlikely but could I be pregnant ? I'm not the smartest when it comes to taking the pill, been on and off it for the last year missing here and there. Also not the smartest on when to take a pregnancy test etc. But this week I do feel different, maybe its just me wishing I was pregnant.

Any advice would be welcome.

All the best

Angels xx

Hi

Hi Angels,

I was in a similar position. i stopped taking the pill at the end of my period and we ttc. i was then convinced i was pregnant as i imagined i had several symptoms. i think that the symptoms were caused by not being on the pill anymore and my body settling down.

I know that often after stopping taking the pill women can get a withdrawal bleed.

I tied myself in knots taking tests too early, have the patience to wait until the day your period is due so that you know for sure that you are not taking a test too early.

having said this, every one of us is different and some people really do get pregnant first try after stopping taking the pill so good luck and will keep my fingers crossed for you.

let us know the outcome but in the meanwhile welcome to the 2 week wait!

Hey hunny

hope your ok...
well i would just go to the docters hunny and see what they say.
i have had 3 mc's i want a baby so my body plays horrible tricks on me and makes ma periods late etc
xx

Thank you

Hey girls

Thank you for the advice and thank you for replying, on some forums I have joined in the passed, you can post and people just ignore you if you are not a regular so thank you.

I think its just my mind playing tricks because I want this badly. I will just wait and see and carry on.

We never really wanted children either of us but since turning 30 its all I think about. We recently got married and it just seems right to have children now. I had a miscarriage last year which I did'nt think affected me until recently when thinking about it.

Anyway I shall wait and thanks everyone and will keep you updated.

xx angels xx
