What a gift.

I just wanted to share this with you all. For our daughters naming day we had an amazing present from her uncle. He gave us a photograph taken on the actual morning she was born amazing.
We had a tricky labour in hospital, after a brilliant pregnancy and a planned home birth. I had an emergency c-section which meant I had to stay in hospital for a couple of days. To be able to see what the morning looked like when our little girl came into the world means so much. I just wanted to tell more mummies and daddies!
We all have our wobbly moments but when I look at that photograph I feel calm and remember how lucky we are! In 30 years time, when our little girl is a young woman, that first day will still be there on our wall, making us smile!

Thats a lovely idea ... to send it to all your family and friends ... i like the idea of having it in the local paper with a photo and a small bit of writing about the babys weight, time of birth ect

I found a company on eBay called Transfers_Uk!
They sell Iron On Transfers and Greetings Cards, I also asked them if they were thinking of introducing an Announcement section to this and they said they are. Also they can put a photo of your baby onto a t-shirt or pillow case or anything like that, or send you it so you can iron it onto whatever you like. Really Reasonably priced as well.
