"Gradually!!"

It's much better for you and baby if you stop gradually, that way you won't get too engorged...ie full of milk! and baby has a chance to get used to formula....if you swap too quickly baby will get constipated! Stopping can be painful if you do it all at once, especially if your baby has been just breastfed and not topped up with bottles! If you really want to just stop in one go then try asking your doctor/health visitor about medicine which can dry up the milk otherwise it can take a week or two to settle down.

Good luck whatever you decide!
