Worried baby won't have milk...help?!?

Hello Ladies

I was hoping I'd get some advice because we're a bit confused!!

Our daughter is 6 months in 2 weeks and has been weening, slowly but surely since 14-15 weeks cos she was not satisfied with milk. She loves her food, mostly home prepared.
However, this government leg re 6 months and making sure milk is the main diet til then is worrying me somewhat because she is just not interested in milk.
We have tried leaving her til she's really hungry but even then she'll have just 1-2oz & that's it.

Do I start to feed her more? keep trying with milk? she already has Breakfast, lunch and dinner!!! and she's normal weight(far from big) happy as Larry and very content. My friend said that she Must have atleast 21oz?

Any advice at all would be great.
Thanks

Dawn x

Hi!

Try putting as much milk into her foods as you can.....ie. when you blend veg or anything stick some milk in too and give other milky foods like porridge etc. Does she drink from a cup/beaker? Try that way to give her the milk too! It is unusual for a baby her age to not have milk and food is meant to be the main source of nutrition only after 1 year.
Don't panic though cos all babies are different and if she is happy then it's obvious you are doing ok!

Love Trace xxxx
