Hi kelly

How you getting on with the feeding?
Grace is 12wks now and shes my 1st baby and we are still bfeeding. We go to a bf support group every week which I find really good. Helps to talk to mum going through the same problems. It shouldnt be sore if baby is latched on properly I would hardly know Grace is feeding at times!lol I also feed her in bed with me at night which is soooo relaxing...beats having to get up in the middle of the night and make bottles anytime!lol Also it is a really good bond for you and baby....soo handy too when you are out and baby is hard to settle just pop her on. Great for getting her off to sleep at night too....Grace falls alseep on the boob!lol I usually wear a 2 piece top and skirt and trousers and you can feed descretly...practice infront of a mirror if you feel conscious for a while.

Hugs Sharon & 12wk old baby Grace x

No need to be shy

I am a first time mum to Erin who is 15 weeks old.
b/f itself took it out of me- the first two weeks were horrible as I bled slightly and my toes curled every time Erin latched on. Did think about giving in- so glad i didn't.

I always wanted to b/f because of the benefits for both myself and babe but like others, was wary about b/f in public.

It took about a month inside my house to get used to b/f with people other than my mum or partner nearby- wasn't sure about doing it in front of my own dad!!

Oh how time alters your perception!!!! Now, Erin gets hungry and I don't hesitate whoever is around- people have to be right next to you to see everything anyway.

The benefits far out weigh my insecurities - she's my angel and i'm gonna give her the best start i can!!

Be proud
