Help please!

I had my son 2 week ago. I had him two early cos he wasn't feeding well inside. In hospital I was expessing milk and been forced to feed him every 2/3 hours!
Now we are home I'm trying to breastfeed but I can't get him latched on, he is just taking the end of the nipple which is killing me. I don't know what to do for the best I don't want to give up but I just can't get him latched on right.
Any tips??????????

the only advice i could give is that when you breast feed you first have to find a comfortable position for you and your baby and when putting the breast in his/her mouth you have to make sure that the whole areola goes into the babies mouth so it is good to hold the baby head toward the breast the hold your index finger and the middle finger around the areola and try to put everything in your baby mouth if you can do this then the baby has latched on properly.

Hi

congratulations hun!!!

I found the rugby ball position the most comfortable in the early weeks. Place a cushion next to you and then place bab's under your arm with his head level to ur breast.
