How do i increase my milk flow?

most people won't agree with this post but it really does work try to drink some beer but mix it with healthy foods and see what happens. It worked for me when my son was 3months old i had to go to New York so i left him with my mother, I wanted to leave him breast milk as he was breast feeding and i didn't want him drinking formula while i was gone so i asked my doctor what i could do to make my milk produce enough for me to leave him for two days and he told me to drink beer so try this.

Hi there congratulations !!!

yes my baby and me had the same problems,
she would not latch on properly and the midwife suggested shields it was the worst mistake i could of made, with hind sight, she would not feed without them....
what i should of done is just stick at it even though it was toe curling painful.
the trouble is its easier to suck and latch on to the plastic than the breast.
If you want to continue for several months, get rid of them, the is a brilliant cream for sore nipples you can put it on after a feed it wont hurt your baby and in heals the breasts is great . its called lansinoh you can buy it at boots....
hope its some use.
fennel drinks will increase your milk flow ,but the baby is the best way to do it.
good luck xxx

I found

a breast pump helped to increase my milk flow when i was breast feeding my little one.

Increase

Your milk will increase with practice.
Try to feed every 3-4 hours at first. Get plenty of rest between and drink plenty of water. After a while your breasts will settle into the routine and produce enough.
I got my husband to suckle after baby each time and it increased the supply incredibly. It was fun too!
You need to completely empty your breasts each time other wise they "think" the milk is not needed so much and make less next time.

Try fennel

fennel diluted in water helps to increase breast milk but it will settle once baby gets into a routine its all hit and miss at first well done though breast is best X

Increase your supply with medela pump

I used Medela breast pump ... its natural 2-Phase Pumping Program - changes automatically or manually from stimulation to expression which help to improve milk qualtity and quality .

Also try consuming Fenugreek or Fennel they may increase your supply too.

Check the site for Medela breast pump for hire and sale
