Hi my son was diognosed with Tourette Syndrome about 5 months ago, hes getting slightly worse with his tics, he not only does body and facial tics but verbal shouting out noises aswell, i feel so sorry for him and really do hope his condition gets better in adolesence,
Hes very clever and seems to be getting on really well at secondary school but i cant help worrying if other kids will soon catch on to his problem and start making his life hell, if anybody else is in a simular position to me please let me know?
Thanks
Lou

Hey Lou, I'm not in a similar position but I just wanted to let you know what I think: All kids are at risk of getting the mickey taken out of them, whether it be their appearance, race, background, taste in music, dedication to studying, ... it could be absolutely anything! I can understand your worries though and hope all turns out ok for you both.
