Hi Carolina! My name is Courtney and I as well am 18 years old so I know exactly what you are going through. I had been a heavy child all my life and it wasnt until grade 10 that I decided okay listen Courtney, Prom is coming up and I you need to fit into a nice dress, so that was my motivation, wanting to fit into a beautiful prom dress, and you know what, I did it. I lost 70 lbs and I've kept it off for almost 2 yrs now. I'm 5'10 and used to weigh 225, now I weigh 155. I want you to know that it IS possible. I know this sounds so simple and I know that me saying it is "easier said than done" but what you need to do is exercise more, (exercise doesnt have to be boring) exercise can be walking your dog, going to the grocery store (walking not driving), doing chores around the house, anything you like. I like running, and rollerblading and thats what helped me lose the weight. You dont need a gym, I didn't visit the gym ONCE during the time I was losing weight. I know you can do it, I can help you with it if you would like and I can support you because thats one of the most important things in weightloss- motivation and support I want to be a nutritionist, so I have a fairly good knowledge of food.
