A new diet with a very different approach

I couldn't find a diet that I liked and so I developed my own.
I would welcome your thoughts and comments.
The main element involves the "hunger sensation".
When we say that we feel hungry I believe that what is actually happening is that we are feeling the sensation of our body consuming the fat that it has stored in reserve.
So if this is true (and I believe that it is, we would DEFINITELY feel this sensation), this could explain why most diets fail.
Most diets tell you to eat something "diet" or drink water etc. to hold off the hunger sensation. I believe that this is the exact opposite of what we should be doing. We should WANT to feel the hunger sensation for a short while because this is a clear indication that at that very moment we are losing weight.
So I believe that all we have to do is to allow ourselves to feel hungry for a shoryt while BEFORE we eat something, and when we DO eat something we should eat something "normal" (i.e. not diet) but in smaller portions than normal.
This way we are not "kidding" our stomach that it has eaten (there is little "fuel" in diet foods, deliberately).
This way our body can control its own weight.
There is a LOT more to the diet than this, btu this is the basic principle. I also believe that we do not need to eat "normal sized" meals, try to snack throughout the day, eating little and often and at meal times just have a snack sized portion. This way our body does not get chance to store excess fat ever.
I have not mentioned the diet by name because it is wrong for me to advertise on sites like this, I just want people to succeed like I did (37 lbs in just over 9 weeks, without even feeling like I was dieting.
