Here we go again
I notice you started the Cambridge diet back in November. How did you get on? Just starting it myself! Wondered if anyone else is on it, I would love to hear about it!

Cheers guys
I was actually wondering this morning whether or not I should give this a crack but you are all so positive I think I will. I know I only have 10 days before christmas but there is no harm in trying, right. Waiting until after the new year is just an excuse for many, perhaps if I expect to do not so well over the xmas week it would be better than not doing it at all. Cheers xx

Cambridge diet
I am half way through my second week and look better already. All weight lost is in the right place. Don't really miss food although still cooking for family. Some of the soups are horrible but it's worth it.

Started cambridge today
Hi how are you doing with this diet??
I started today and so far so good have drunk a litre and half of water and made up 2 half packs of thick milkshakes - didnt taste as bad as I actually thought. Although not sure how I will feel over the next 7 days.
Probably a bad time of year to start but im so determined I could lose a stone or more by the time Chrimbo actually comes and fit into a smaller size dress that the rest of the stuff doesnt matter.
Would love to hear how other people are getting on?

"started cambridge 3 days ago!!"
Hi, started on sunday 26th Nov, 1st day all I could do was think about food!! 2nd and 3rd days much better, although not too sure about shakes, I had a banana one and couldnt get thru it, I think I made it up a bit too thick. Chicken and Mushroom Soup is lovely. I feel like im always on the loo but feel much better already.
Let me know how your getting on. Good luck!!

Cambridge
Don't wait until tomorrow - start it today - its very exciting i've been on it for one week and one day and have lost a total of 11 pounds in my first week - i've just been to a conference which ended in a cafe and everyone ordering stuff and i was quite comfortable sitting there with a bottle of water - the food didn't bother me even though it looked and smelled lovely - the excitement of losing weight wins over. jude

On the cambridge diet for 4 days - messed up already!!! help!
How did you manage to get over the worst days - I'm on my 4th day and just gave in and stuffed myself silly of free sandwiches in a meeting and chocolate cake. Now I feel really guilty because I do want to succeed on this diet.
I live in London, so it's really hard to get away from food, everywhere I look someone is eating!
I wouldn't say it's a question of motivation, more that of will power - I have always relied on food emotionally, so when I'm tired, rundown, stressed or bored. How did you overcome the feeling of needing to eat?

Cambridge diet??
Ok, I've seen you all talking about it, but what is the Cambridge diet? Do I have to run to cambridge and back? I really hope not thats miles away! lol Can anyone give me a heads up?

Don't mess up
If you're going to a conference get one of the tetra bricks - ignore the sarnies - the bricks are smooth chocolatey drinks - very creamy and special.

Worst days
I've had some terrible days over the weekend - shopping - cooking - i have a large family - i hope i have got over this by chewing the food and then spitting it out - i don't know though - i'll have a much smaller weight loss this week - will be two weeks on tuesday 28th November and already have lost 15lb. Got to keep it up - really want to be a slim mother again - its been so long since i was slim. Only 5 stone to go now.

"go back on it"
Hey,
I've been on the diet for a week and a half now and it is getting so much easier, the first week was hell I kept thinking of food and felt really sick and ill but just keep thinking "that nothing tastes as good as being slim" thats what my mum says to me and every time i'm tempted I think of that and get up and keep myself busy. I find phoning a friend works, just for a chat to change the way you are feeling. Remember you don't NEED to eat on the diet because you have your 3 shakes or whatever, its the underlying issues you need to tackle. Maybe speak to your cambridge diet thearpist.
Good Luck x
