Who wants to be my online diet buddy?

Hey there girls!!!
We're all here for the same reason--let us admit it: we want to be beautiful. attractive. thin. right?? so how about we all lose weight together? i'm not really obese. or even overweight. however, you know that nowadays it's nice to be skinny skinny skinny...and i wanna be that. not anorexic, not bulimic. i am a health freak. so i wanna have some online motivation with a couple of you--how bout that? i motivate you, you motivate me..it would be soooo much fun!!! my standard is: fruit and vegetables!! lots and lots of water, diet coke and tea!! iced tea now for the winter, and of course not sweetened!! and also coffee. i loooove coffee. and proteins. so basically--cut the carbs!! let's not let them get us!! carbs are baaaad. for weight loss that is. for weight maintenance, they're fine . so how about that? hope to hear from a couple of you! we could tell each other what we ate each day, the activity we did, how we felt, ect. oooh, i wanna do this so much!!! tak to you later!

I'm just about to embark on a get fit quick campaign for myself, I have a upcoming '0' birthday in the summer (July) also want to shed 3 stone although really i think its a little unachievable by July. But determined not to let it pass me by at this enourmous size i am.

I'm intending to perhaps follow a similar routine as you are, far as eating is concerned.
More fruit & veg, less chocolate & crisps. Uping the amount of water & nettle tea & reducing the coffee & Alcohol!!!!

Also trying to convince myself to dig the bike out of the shed & walk my partners dog too!!

More exercise & leass 'couch potatoeing'..lol

heya!!I'd love to have a diet buddy, what a brilliant idea to keep motivated!I find i do ok for say 2 days and then just revert back to my old eating habits.I'd love to have a slimmer body even though i am not overweight but again not anorexic, just healthy!would be great to share karkaz

I need someone that can motivate me, and after reading you mesg, i believe your the person. I'm halfway there since i hear being confident is half the battle. My problem is the same i can go for about 2 days and then i fall back into my lazy habits. I have a gym membership and I can honestly say i have used it about oh 20 times in the last 7 months Ive had it..i need help badly, considering i have 4 months till my big day, hopefully u can motivate me and i can do the same for you:P

Hello darling! Firstly im not a girly, but im despirately wanting too loose my christmas fat. My boifriend calles me hamster cheecks, nd i want them gone, i want to be able to see my cheeck bones again, to be fair, the 4 mcdonalds a week dont help, but yeh, its time to change. Hi karkaz, I would like to loose 2 stone preferably before the middle of May 2007, I have a really sweet tooth and have tried so many diets I have been left really confussed about what to actually eat. I love and hate food so much. I tried slimming worldmbut it didnt do much, is that because I ate mostly carbs? Are they bad? I really need some ideas, motivation and support. I am a binge eater and so therefore need lots of support. I hope you are sucessful with your weight loss and I hope I can suceed to.

Moderation!

No need to cut out your carbs as your body needs them to function but don't eat lots of them unless you're exercising alot! You need to up your protein, this will make you feel fuller and should stop your binges. Also, having a sweet tooth be careful of the artificial sweetners in foods as these can actually make your body crave real sugar even more. Swap your white carbs for brown/wholemeal ones, as in rice/ pasta and try to eat these at lunchtime instead of in the evening. Also, a clear soup is good before your meals, like a broth, this will fill you up and you'll eat smaller meals. If you combine a change in diet and some god aerobic activity 3 to 4 times a week, you should be able to shift your 2 stone. Also, it helps if your do the 80% to 20% ratio, so be good mon to fri and you can ease off a little at the weekend, this way it won't seem like such a chore!
