Golower

Hi Beautyfusion,

I have just lost a stone and 6lb in 6 weeks on a diet called Go-lower. I have found this diet really easy - you order the food off their website, they supply a weeks worth, 2 weeks worth or a months worth and it gets delivered to your door in about 2 days. Everything suppied that you need, you just heat up on the hob and add veg. I have never had success like this with any diet I have done before. I have 2 friends at work who are following lighterlife and cambridge, we are all losing about the same amount of weight but I am eating 3 meals a day plus a chocolate bar in the evening and they are living on shakes and bars. Hope this helps you, their website is www.golower.co.uk if you want to look at the meals they supply.

Low gi worked for me.............

Hi there,

I recently lost a stone by joining a Rosemary Conley class and sticking (though sometimes not rigidly) to a low gi diet. It took me 2 months and I was never hungry on it because of the type of foods I was eating.I cut out all the rubbish I was eating but if I fancy a bit of chocolate or a glass of wine then I have it! It's all about moderation... Now I have reached this goal I want to lose a bit more, but more importantly-keep it off in a healthy way! I feel it has taught me to choose healthier foods which can only be a good thing.....

Yess i am

i can only ever get to 7pounds and then just dont seem to be able to go past that! it's really discouraging and annoying! that last little bit of weight is always the hardest :S

Does 28lbs count?

Hi

I have about 2st to lose and I have the same problem, as I get nearer target my will power seems to waver and it always comes of really slowly. Which diet are you doing? After years of trying WW and SW I am now on Cambridge, only in week 2 but hoping to find the success that has eluded me for so long.

My second week to!!!!

hi there this is the first time ive been in a forum, this is my second week and im turning to you for help i just fell off the wagon and ate a tosted muffin!!! now i feel really bad!! ive lost 11lbs os far, but really struggling now, have 4st to lose.... any advice????

28lbs is about right...

Hey LadyP

That's how much I'd LOVE to lose...but you know, smaller goal first

Well, I've always been around 11st 8, got pregnant, lost baby, but didn't lose the extra 9lbs I'd put on. Got pregnant again, went up to 14 st 6 whilst pregnant, then dropped to 13st 6 fluctuated between 12st 8 and 13 st 6.

Had tummy tuck, was 13st 9....am still 13st 9...with a lot flatter stomach!

Now really want to show off new tum and new figure...so would love to be back to 11st 8...so yep...28lbs to go

Am doing slimming world, have done it before, but I really don't like the meetings. As I live in Spain, I'm doing the online system bodyoptimise...and I love it. I've not been hungry once in four days (HORRAH!) and I have a tab of chocolate (dark) every day!

So what didn't work for you on SW? I'll have to go read what the Cambridge is all about? And what is your weakness, chocolate? alcohol? snacking??
