Hiya Charlotte, I tried hoodia for 3 months, no results. I then tried something else (Cant remember the name),also no luck. I then tried the Pink Patch - same sad story - guess I am just going to have to perservere. The thing is that I was always skinny even after three children. I am 54 now and had surgery for breast cancer in January and am on tamoxifen pills and have gained nearly 2 stone since then!!! Frightening!! If you come across a miracle cure please share it with me!!! Good Luck in your quest. If I discover anything I will share it. Margie

Hi Charlotte,
I haven't tried hoodia, but have tried appetite supresors before without any success.
However, I have found that fucoxanthin with pomegranate seed oil to be a great help in my weight loss program in which I lost 1 and a half stone on 12 weeks.
Apparently it works by raising your metabolic level and so burning fat at a faster rate.
No idea if that's true - but it certainly does work!
I get mine here: www.fucoxanthindirect.com but I think they are available from health food stores too.
Best of luck!
Shelly.

Hi there,
I've tried Hoodia and lipobind - both didn't help.
Snack attack is the worst thing - just try to snack on more 'healthier options' like fruit, veg, seeds, the usual thing. Also, snacking might be a sign that you are thursty rather than hungry- so make sure you drink plenty of water throughout the day. It might be worth looking in a diet mag like top sante as they have plenty of good tips. I always find that keeping active makes me feel less hungry - I alwyas get bad snack cravings when I am bored.
Anyway, good luck
Alex xx

Well I've been on the Hoodia tabs for a couple of weeks now and yesterday morning I took two 1 hour before eating and then I never stopped eating the whole day. I think they work if you want them to work. But I don't really feel they supress one's appetite. I only want to lose a stone but I find that's the most difficuly to do as I've trying for over a year now and I'm PIG SICK of DIETING (or rather thinking about it)...... Good luck....

If you're looking for a quick fix google the maple syrup diet/lemon detox/master cleanse whichever you choose to call it. I lost 12lbs in 7 days! I know at first it seems daunting but trust me its ALOT easier than it sounds. The first three days you'll be really tired but by day 7 you'll feel great! And follow the post detox diet for a week or two and you should experience minimum re-gain. Anyway good luck with you're weightloss ladies!
