Cambridge diet...so many questions....

Hi all,

Am thinking about trying the Cambridge Diet, want to lose about 2.5 stone. My questions are:

1) Are you constantly starving?

2) How much does it cost? (the most intensive package, Sole Source)

3) How long might I expect it to take? I thought I could just do it for 4 weeks so an end would be in sight for motivation, but what might I lose in 4 weeks?

4) What actually happens when you first make contact with the counsellors to get started?

5) In peoples experience, does the weight stay off? From forum posts I've seen on Lighter Life I gather it rarely does, is Cambridge the same?

Phew! Any answers to any of the above would be welcomed!
Thanks guys xx

Cambridge diet

hi i'm on the cambridge diet now. I've been on it now for 4days and lost 6lb. i'm over the moon but it's so hard. my friends been doing lighter life for 4 months and she said it never felt tough for her. am i the only one who finds it it hard or is there more of you out there.

Go look at www.slimtea.co.uk it workes great for me

Good luck!

Hello!

1. Well. No ... but you do have to prepare yourself for three or four very uncomfortable days where you will feel like eating your own arm in a baguette. It's a myth that hunger "stops" after three days - IT DOES NOT! What you *do* get is less physica hunger but you will still want and crave and yearn for certain foods.

2. £40 p/w.

3. If you stick to the sole source and do exercise too you should be looking at a loss of between 1 to 2 stone in four weeks.

4. Depends on the counsellor - the word "counsellor" is very misleading, I think. Usually they will weigh you, measure you, talk to you about the different "foods/shakes" etc on offer and then you will choose a selection.

5. Yeah, it really depends on how sensible you are! I wasn't and ate everything in sight so put on a stone! Still slimmer than I was (thank God!) - if you go to any ww/sw meet you will see dozens of ppl who did it before and put it back on. 'Tis the dieting world I am afraid - lol!

Hi

Hi,

1. After the first couple of days you go past hunger.
2. I bought mine for aorund £120 on a website.
3. Losing weight depends on your shape and what weight you are at now.
4. ?
5. I have heard from my parents that the weight does stay off, just because your eating style changes!

Hope this helps.
