Starting cambridge diet on monday and need some buddies

I have bee overweight for the last 8 years after being a slim size 8 all my teenage years and am fed up with it, I have decided to try the cambridge diet but would love to hear of some success stories from other people who have done this or anything similiar to keep me motivated and to share experiences etc...

I would love to hear back from anyway

I'm starting this diet tomorrow, and im really looking forward to it.... and would love a buddy!
I know its going to be tough, i need to lose between three and four stone......
no support at home - the other half is in iraq for six months and im still going to have food around for my daughter, so it's going to be a real test!

I have been on the Cambridge diet a few times and I have had good results. My mistake (as always) has been once I came off the diet I went mad just eating everything. I've lost four or five stones several times but I am determined to stop the yoyo effect this time. When I've lost the weight I am just going to eat sensibly and try and change for life. But it's so difficult isn ... I love choc, Cadbury's in particular. I'm in heaven with a coffee and some giant buttons (I sound very sad )

Anyway good luck, make sure you use your counsellor, they are a big help.

I'm on day 12 of the cambridge diet sole source. In 5 days I lost 9 pounds and a few inches from parts of my upper body. I had one bad day when I had some milk in my tea. Apart from this I 'm not doing too badly. The support of my sisters and the end result of feeling comfortable in my own skin is keeping me going. I have about 7 stone to lose, so I have decided to give myself a small treat for every stone that I lose, such as a pair of earrings or makeup item. When I lose all the weight, hopefully by the end of the year I will book a big holiday.

I found that after a few days I stopped feeling hungry and have managed to go out to functions without being tempted to eat.

I strongly recommend that you carry a one litre bottle of water if you're out and about. If you refill it twice you know that you have consumed the amount of water that you need for the day.

On a long but ending road

Hi,
Im starting week 4 of the sole source CD today and I've lost 1st 4lbs so far. I messed up with my sachets (not having enough ironically!) and my weight loss slowed. I've also had a little bit of a boiled egg and licked a knife with philadelpia on it! Both of which happened when preparing food for my partner.

Aside from that Im doing well and Im SO determined. My start weight was 23st 10lbs, now Im 22st 6lbs. im hoping to get to a size 16 as Im 5ft 11 and estimate I need to lose at least 7 stones to get there. To be what my GP wants I need to get to 12st 10lbs! That seems too far away for me right now so im sticking to size 16!

Anyway, thats me and Im up for a diet buddy if anyone's in a similar situation?
