I am unaware of the specifics of this particular diet however, aiming to lose 18 pounds in 4 days IS unhealthy and extremely bad for the body.
Losing weight should always be a steady progression (about 2lbs per week is considered "healthy").
Losing any more than that (and any other rapid loss fad diets) causes the body to store fat quicker when the person does start to eat properly again therefore, they will rapidly pile on the pounds and 9 times out of 10 weigh more than before they started the diet.
Losing weight by eating healthily (with a balanced diet) and regular exercise is always the best route.
