Cambridge diet diary

I am a 33yr old who currently weighs in at 13st dead and stand 5'3". I don't regard myself as fat but am clearly uncomfortable enough in my skin to want to make a change. I started the Cambridge Diet on 24/01/09, am on my third day and so far I have manage to stick to the plan effortlessly. I've been drink a glass of warm water everytime I've felt to nibble and have tried to stick to 1ltr of water inbetween each "meal".

I am hoping that by keeping a regular journal I can help to motivate myself and others to achieve our goal weight.

At the moment I am full to bursting point of ethusiasm and anticipation. I can't wait to meet and get to know the new me. I'm also looking forward to getting to know you guys along the way too. Good luck all (I have a feeling I'm going to need it most).

Ciao x

Hi

Hi,

Well done for getting to day 3 !

Your body will be going into ketosis now, so at least now you know you are fat burning!! Hey keep it up and you will see results !

I did the cd last year and lost a stone. I too wrote a diary and its such a good feeling when the weight and inches just drop off !

Go for it hun and good luck,

rita xx

Thanks rita!

Thanks for your support Rita.

I haven't had my first "weigh in" as yet but will this evening. I was toying with the idea of writing now or after. Now won!!

Physically, I don't feel any different although my dear friend (who always says the right thing) passed by last night and said she could definitely see a difference. Particularly in my face. I've gotten a bit fanatical about this diet for some reason. I've been on SO many sites, bought ketostix (which I use every morning) and I measure myself once a week, as well as writing here!

With one week on CD under my wing I can truly say it hasn't been difficult at all! Yes there have been times that I've felt hungry but to be honest that's only happened when I've walked past the canteen at work or into my mother's kitchen when visiting.

I've found 4ltrs of water very easy to get through, especially as I actually like hot water.

It's a very do-able diet, but I'll let you know if it's been worth NOT eating after I'm weighed tonight!!

First weigh off

I've done it. I managed to get through the first CD week and by the end of it I was -6lbs!! Woo hoo!!!!

Here's looking forward to another week
