Day 2 of cambridge - buddy needed

Hi

I restarted the Cambridge Diet yesterday and trying to be good - even though headaches and woozyness makes me think i should stop. I normally have a very strong will power and i knew when starting this diet that it would in no way be easy but it is hard to keep spirits (and energy) up. I have however printed out my fat pics of me now and thinner pics from years ago - which essentially is the before and after shots, just for motivation!!!

Would like a buddy for morale support if anyone fancies the challenge???

I's hard going!

Hi there Natalie

I am on day four today (second time around) and have felt less hungary today, day two is hard, this time it was too hard for me so I ended up having low fat cottage cheese! I also had some yesterday so was pretty weak really!! My counsellor is coming tomorrow for my weigh in so suppose I will now then if I have hit ketosis or not!! Last time I was on the diet (3 weeks ago only stopped as I had to have an operation) I lost 13lbs in the first two weeks!! I was very motivated and did not cheat at all and the out come was fantastic and very motivating. When the doctor siad I had to come off the diet I was very frustrated and have not quite got my motivation levels back up to the same levels so could also do with a diet buddy!!

I will say the headaches I have not had this time... are you drinking enough? this part is tough but worth while!

Keep going you can do it!
Andie

Thanks

Thanks Andie. My Day 2 was awful but had a good night sleep last night and am drinking oodles of water anyway which is really helping and to be honest had a few hunger twinges this morning but its much easer today. 13lbs is fantastic for 2 weeks, i also did it previously but only managed a week as i found it too hard but lost 10lbsin the first week - so hoping for around the same this time. Eveerytime i think of eating something i just think about how i would feel afterwards - i would be gutted and also when i weigh in i would always be thinking how much i could've lost if i hadnt eaten it! Also i printed out some pictures of how i look now and how i want to look!!! How is your motivation now? Any more cottage cheese??

Natalie
