Need to get rid of stress and anxiety

I really believe that weight, stress, anxiety and sleep are interconnected, and, personally, I have trouble keeping them in balance. For the last forty five days I am having the problem of Stress and Anxiety. First I thought it is something usual when I could not sleep properly. But now it is the stress and anxiety that I cant sleep properly I want help desperately. I cant figure out what is wrong. I need mental relaxation. I even tried to do meditation but couldnt concentrate. What can I do?

Stop worrying!

I think the first thing to do is to stop panicking about the fact that u cant sleep. It sounds like u are putting pressure on yourself, thinking : i must sleep! all the time. Try thinking instead: its not a disaster if i don't sleep. Dont wrestle with your thoughts - just relax.

U could try reading, but i'd avoid watchin telly before u go to sleep cos apparently that is supposed to interrupt our brainwaves and disturb sleep. My mum also has read somewhere that u shud sleep in complete darkness and turn all plug sockets/electrical equipment off in your room as well, as your eyes will pick up on even very small lights.

also have you thought if theres anything else bothering you in your life (perhaps even subconsciously?) Sometimes the smallest things can bother us and we dont realise! If there is something then u shud talk to someone u can trust about it!

try not to worry and you will be fine - remember no pressure on yourself - and rest is very beneficial, even if u dont actually sleep!

Stress

if you do understand what consequences stress gives to your body and soul, it shouldn't be hard to get rid of it. The first thing you should try is socializing and thinking positively. It's very hard, because usually when we feel depressed we lock our selves at home and try to think about all the bad character issues we have. But if you'll try to force yourself and call a friend for a cup of coffee, the chances for changing your mood into better are very good. Just try to avoid bad thoughts. Instead, try to think only about the bright side of your life. Don't forget: we are what we think we are.Don't forget to be creative! Because creating things alters our mood. Creating doesn't include only painting or playing an instrument, it also includes cooking, making something using needle and thread, writing something, photographing and many other activities. If meditation doesn't help, a good bath will always do the job! Personally, i think you need a space for you to really concentrate and de-stress yourself. Whenever i am stressed, i would set out a day just to do something i like and switch off any distractions that i have. Try burning a candle with aromatherapy oil(lavender?) in your room to give a relaxing area and make it a pamper-yourself-day. or have a bath and really sit in there and cry away your stress then think of the water mixed with your tears drained away afterwards.

Balance is very important. It takes a lot of discipline to keep things balanced. Try setting out schedules with a couple of hours a day devoted to family or yourself. I was having the same problem. I was into a job in which I had to work more than 12 hrs. The Bible suggests taking an entire day off from work every week. I think its pretty good advice. You need to take care of your self caz it will affect you biologically. Try using the Theramood product. I tried it and believe me it gave me relaxation. I think they have a site by same name theramood. We people usually think of taking drug during stress and anxiety. May be we get some relaxation for few moments (initially few hours) but what after that. You wont be able to continue with those things. Soon you will need a high dose and you will be addicted to those things. Try using Theramood you dont even need the doctors subscription but consult your physician if you have been or are currently being treated for any condition
