Hello, I was so sad to read your post - you remind me of myself at your age. I suffered from bulimia and anorexia from the age of 12 (I'm now 31) and to be honest I'm still recovering. That's why you need to stop now, while you feel you still can (although I suspect you might be kidding yourself there). Please get some help - go to your GP, a school teacher, anyone you feel you can trust (your GP is bound to a code of confidentiality). The blood you see is because you are irritating the lining of your stomach and/or throat. You are seriously at risk of rupturing either. There are also all sorts of other problems associated with making yourself vomit - some extremely serious. I don't want to scare you as obviously you are worried enough to have come here in the first place and therefore must have some understanding of the danger you are in...I now suffer from brittle bones, dizzy spells, hormone and vitamin deficiences, I almost ruptured my throat when I was 17 and it is highly unlikely that I can have children. And all because I wanted to weigh...well, whatever. If I could turn back the clock I'd take all the help people were trying to give me early on in my illness because now, the truth is, it's too late. But it's not too late for you - please, please please do this for me - just start eating a little more through the day and you may not feel the urge to binge at night - if you carry on the chances are it won't matter what you eat through the day, you'll still binge but you won't even know why. You can do this - stay strong, I don't know what else to say...let me know how you get on.
