I cant loose weight.

I skip breakfast and lunch and eat about 500 calories at dinner and go to the gym for an hour 3 times a week, but why cant i seem to loose any weight? can someone tell me how i can get rid of a few pounds asap please.

I have been doing exactly the same for over a year, and havn't lost any weight since easter infact I've put on half a stone (and lost and gained and lost and gained that same half a stone so many times)!!!
Simple. Metabolsim. I started theropy last summer and she ezplained it all too me. and I didn't beliebe her. The idea of eating not making me gain weight just didn't make any sence. Breakfast and lunch make me feel full and bloated and horrible I know what its like. 3 mals a day is a nightmare, but you know what, she's right. When visiting relatives I had to havebreakfast and lunch, but thankfully only smal portions, and guess what, I was fine, I was shocked to find that I didn't even feel bloated and I craved food less. try it. I know it'll take a long time to get used to and you need to ease into it but hang in there. maybe doing it everysay of the week would seem too much. maybe have an aple at lunch time to start with. It sounds to me though that you need to see someone too. Talk to someone. But from my experience starveing yourself may cause weightloss at first but it soon has the opposite effect and makes you feel fat and bloated over the smallest of things.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.You need to eat breakfast and lunch - not skip them.You arent eating enough and your body is storing the food you do eat in case it doesnt get any more.

When you dont eat your metabolism slows down and you need to speed it back up.You need to eat several small meals a day(every 2-3 hours)this will speed up your metabolism and your body doesnt store your one meal a day as fat,as it knows it will get more food soon by eating regular small meals.

i ride a bike but at least 17 km a day 3 times a week and don't eat after 18 pm and i loose weight very fast ,of course i limit sweets and so on but when i have the appetite on such things i eat it and the next day i have my own diet and i drink mineral water and eat 3 carrots a day.instead of drinking tea drink mineral water and you will loose weight !!!it works!!!i have to add that i eat normally.One more thing you'd better eat breakfast than in the evening,if you eat good breakfast you will eat less in the evening and that's very good.Dieteticians say that if you want to loose your weight you shouldn't eat after 18 pm and that dinner should be easily degastible you shouldn't eat much when you are going to sleep in the next 4 hours.

you need to eat ... or your body goes in starvation mode it does not no when its next energy is coming from so stores what ever you put in your mouth.....
eat small amounts breakfast 1 piece of toast ... lunch soup ... and sensible tea and don't eat after 7 o'clock in the evening.
your body will start to burn of what you eat rather than storing it =)

Tips

hi ive been dieting for a while now and been successful thanx god,but if you have tried dratic dieting it will not work trust me ive been there,the latest craze is to do your meals the other way round, i.e have brekkie for your tea etc and have your biggest meal for your brekkie beyonce done it, so you are still eating healthy, ive not tried this as im alreday on a healthy eating plan but and tips might help x
