I fell pregnant 3 years ago and decided to get the implant. My first pregnancy I had very bad morning sickness and knew straight away that i was pregnant. After getting the implant my perids became irregular over the first few months and then regulated in my second year. Im now in my third year of having the implant and this month my period is irregular again. Im bloated, I have stomach pain, my breasts are constantly tender, I feel tired, drained and my period is light, not enough for a tampon. Is this enough cause for me to think Im pregnant? My Implant is due out on the 1st of July and my boyfriend is worried that I may fall pregnant as a previous girlfriend did while on implanon. I feel silly because my symptoms could be down to period pains and I thought if I got pregnant a second time I would know like I did the first time. I don't want to take a pregnancy test because I feel stupid thinking about it (I was told this is the best birth control available). Would really appreciate any advice in this area to ease my mind. if you had the implant for so long it might have by now stopped working properly. I became pregnant whilst having the implant, I was taking st. johns worth so that made it less effective. I found out i was preggies in my 8th week, and couldn`t believe it. But, yes you might be pregnant, and if you wanna keep the baby you`ll need to have the implant taken out asap. when I was pregnant first time round, I was sick, tired and all the rest of it. The second time I wasn`t sick at all, neider was I tired. But my brests became massive. And, yes, I thought all along " oh no, I can`t be pregnant. My period is due, that`s why my boobs have doubled in size".

Honestly, if I were you, I`d run down to the chemist and get a pregnancy test, the signs can be totally diferent with each pregnancy.
