hi girls im very close i think to having my mirenna coil removed ????? i have had this coil over the past 11 years and feel i want a break if that makes sense i want my hormones to go back to normal im very down at times and im sure its cause of all the hormones i suffer wiv headaches which are more frequent constipation . i do need some form of contraception but unsure wot would be best for me sorry its so long please help me out girls xx jo

it depends what u feel is the best for you, there is always that 1% chance that any contraception may not work. Condoms are easiest but theres a higher risk of it splitting etc. The pill is effective but does cause side effects such as heavier periods just as your getting used to it anyway. The pill is probably your safer option but talking to your doctor about side effects and other methods would probably be a good idea hope i helped out abit Deex

There isnt just pills and condoms you can use or take cuz they arent always effective. I went to my doctor and got the inplant put in my left arm and it means your always protected and you dont need to rember to take it cuz its always there unlike forgetting to take the pill
