Borderline smear test results, really worried, help!!!!

for the past year i have sometimes had bleeding between periods/un-regular cycles but i put this down to coming off the pill. also it hurt when having sex in certain positions and i bled after (put this down to my rather well-endowed husband lol), so went for an sti test and everything came back clear.

had a smear test done on the 6th jan and got the results back yesterday saying i had 'borderline cell changes' and they want me to have another smear in six months, not to worry and this happens to 1 in 20 women.

however, 'not worrying' is easier said than done, especially with cervical cancer being so high profile at the moment.

im stressing like mad that something is wrong with me and im going to end up with something seriously wrong with me. plus my husband had a vasectomy reversal 5 weeks ago so we're actually going to try for a baby.

does anybody know if i can still try to get pregnant while waiting for my next smear in six months? would it do any damage?

has anybody had borderline results? im so worried and just need reassurance off someone.

im mainly scared that i wont be able to get pregnant after we saved for my husbands reversal for 2 years, i would be devastated if i couldnt have children.

i also have an ultrasound scheduled for 11th march to see if i have ovarian cysts

help!!!!!???????!!!!

Ultrasound

ultrasound scan went great, they said they could'nt see anything like ovarian cysts/blocked tubes etc so im pleased with that and since the last message i wrote i havent had any bleeding between periods at all until last week!
had browny/pinky spotting and then my husband convinced me it was implantation bleeding and i was pregnant so getting my hopes up seeing as i was 2 weeks late also and then i came on yesterday, really heavy
gutted but at least i can have fun trying again

I wouldn't get to worried I have had this and when I ent and did the test again in six months everything was fine, and your right not worrying is easier said then done.

Your help

"Borderline" PAP smear - is rather common thing - so first of all - stop stressing!

Changes in cervical mucus may happen to smoking woman or if you using a contraception pill for a long time.
Also it may index to infection with - HPV virus (causing polips on the cervix) - but it not common.

Pregnancy is NOT AFFECTING cervical mucus! so its OK to get pregnant meanwhile..

if you need more information - you can visit the site www.bestcontraceptionmethods.c om
There are a lot of information, related to your question.
