Pill help!

Just wanna kno, on the pill 7months now and need to kno, when u go on pill break for the week and then start the pill again on day 8 is the pill immediately effective from the day? i.e. if i take the 1st pill of my pack again at 7pm will i be able to have sex without any other contraception later that evening? need to kno asap!xx

I think ur ok, I think it takes 7days to leave ur system, the same as it takes 7 days to start working when u 1st start the pill. I was on the pill for about 3years, This was always the case for me. I don't think there would be much point of the pill if you wern't protected after the 7day break. I think u should be fine. But obviously if ur in any doubt, u should use a condom to be sure.
