Loestrin 20

I have been prescribed this for possible endometreosis. I am doubled up in pain for the first 48hrs of my period and at ovulation so my GP says I need to be on the pill.

I am too scared to take it because I read the leaflet and the risks of DVT's. Also it mentions strokes and heart attacks. It is the DVT thing I am most concerned about as I think it is quite common isn ...

Can anyone give me some advice/reassurance about this please? My GP just tells me to stop worrying and take it

I am a petite lady, non smoker, slim with no health problems.
