Discharge!

Hey girls

For the last couple of months now I've been suffering with really excessive discharge, it began all of a sudden but hasn't stopped. Occasionally it is so much my knickers feel soaking wet I went to see the nurse at my GP's and she said that it could just be one of those things. She took a swab test but results came back normal. It is just reallllly embarrassing!!! It doesn't really smell, although I think it sometimes smells what I can only describe as yeasty?!?! Does anyone else suffer with this? I don't know what to do?? I may go to a clinic and get re-tested... Please help...

If its not itchy, it doesnt sound like thrush, does it happen more around the time you ovulate, this is mid cycle, this is quite normal. Just buy yourself some pantie liners, you can get some wafer thin ones from bodyform. You might like to check out a site called "my beautiful cervix" you can see how the cervix changes, and the look of the discharge, which may put your mind at rest.

No it isn't itchy at all, I have no discomfort. I am on the pill and have been for about 9 years! It's only just started happening, well over the last couple of months and it's pretty much all the time until I come on and then it starts again a few days after I have started my pill pack.

It's just embarrassing more than anything! It is a lot more than normal!! I don't know why it's started happening as it never used to I'm always really worried in case it smells, I don't think it does apart from that yeasty sort of smell.....

just letting u know ive been like that for years its not smelly not really only when im due on it gets a bit of a stronger smell its white and it is reallhy annoying and embarrassing most of the time i have to have a panty liner on... my 2 sisters suffer with this as well...when i went to see my gpyears ago about it.. i was told discharge if it is normal is just ur bodys way of cleaning its self and that is what ur discharge is its just that some of us have a lot more than others!..but be warned dont do wht i did i got very paranoid about it and i was constantly washing my self down below even after every wee and i caused myself to get BV bacterial vaginosis and had to have antiobiotics and was told not to clean my self anymore than normal cos i was make ing it worse...

u never know it could stop anytime but mine hasent but some months its not as bad as otheres hope this helps in a little way x x
