Need help with pill

I recently got together with a new partner and decided to go back on the pill. However, being impatient, I didn't wait for my period before I took it. I took my first pill, and my period started the next day. I just continued taking the pill, but although my period got very very light, it didn't completely stop. It's been two weeks, so I thought maybe I should stop taking it and that I'd have a normal period, and continue taking it after a week as if i'd had a weeks break, but I stopped taking it two days ago and still nothing has changed. What should I do?

the pill, you dont have to wait for your period to arrive, but you should take it about 1-2wks before having sex as it might not have started working correctly. the pill i was taking, something similar happened, i took it immediately without having a period, i started to bleed a few days lasted and i bled for 2 weeks, then it stopped and i didnt have a period at all. I stopped taking the pill and i didnt have a period at all and it was about 4weeks. I started taking the pill again, after about 3 days I started to bleed and it lasted a week this time.

Personally, I would just take your pill, either wait for your period now or start taking it again. And this time just continue, you will stop eventually, and if you take the pill correctly you probably wont have a period again until you stop taking it. I would just start taking it again because you dont know how long it will be you will have to wait otherwise. But I would give it at least a week to work before you have sex or use a condom, as without having a period it wont start working instantly.
