Chlamydia worry

I wana buy the clamelle kit from an online pharmacy to test myself for chlamydia, jst wonderd if n e 1 else ever done this?

Just wonderin what the usual turnaround time was and if there were n e issues?

I had the same problem a few months ago and bought a test from treat discreet, it did cost £25 but it saved me going to my doctor who had treated me and my whole family for years.
My test was positive and the treat discreet website had a page with local clinics where I could pick up treatment. Its well worth a try.

i know this is a pretty old thread but i thought i could hopefully help
your local hospital have a service and a seperate hospital department, known as a G.U.M clinic, Its very private very confidential, if you have to go to the hospital after you have visited the G.U.M clinic they will not find any records of you visiting unless it is a risk to your health or unless you tell them.
When they test you the nurses are very professinal and dont make you feel embarrassed or uncomfortable! ( I know as i have a check up every year, which does make me sound like a slapper but im not, i just like to be safe, due to an accident i had i have a higher chance of catching an s.t.d sorry to go on haha)
Its all free of charge and they do not call your name you have a number given to you, which only you know. they dont give you appoinment card or anything, they even ask if its ok to phone, email or send you letters! its all down to you. and there isn't no worry time, the same day as you have the test you find the results exactly the same day so there is no 2 week worry with most test's you find out after youve had the test's.
If you do have something they offer you anti-biotics or other treatment which you donthave to collect from the chemist. They give it to you there and then!
and of course before giving you any medication they ask about you medical history, your family emdical history and they ask about your sex life to

I've been researching this for a mate who thinks she might have it and is freaking out, but she doesn't want to take time off to go to the doctors or anything- I've found a website that looks pretty good - treatdiscreet.com. It says you can test yourself and buy the treatment all online and they post it for free.
