Implanon panic

im 16 and i cant stop worrying...i had the implanon put in me on the 10/07/09 and on the 17/07/09 i had unprotected sex but i cant stop worrying...the women said it works fully in a week so i thought it'll be okay...since she told me hardly anyone has got pregnant from it and the effectiveness...so i dhttp://www.sofeminine.co.uk/world/communaute/forum/imforum/smiley/g26.gifont use condoms anymore...she said use condoms but if its a contraception surely that should be good enough...other wise it wouldnt be in my arm....but i cant stop panicin' that i might be pregnant and have started using condoms again but i really dont want to but i cant stop worrying

I have the implant 2, I find it brilliant as I dont even have to think about it - as I am useless at remembering pills etc...
If your that worried you should go back to the place you had it put in and ask for a pregnancy test ... the reason she advised you to use comdoms is purely to stop STDs, as no matter if your on any sort of conteception (pill, injection, implant) you can still catch them.... unless your sure yoou and your partner are both clean...

Seriously just go back - have a test & put your mind at rest
