Implanon

Hi,
Ive had Implanon for a year now and up until this month I always had a period, albeit for longer or shorter than usual or more than once a month. This month though I havent got it. I had my last one so Im not too worried about been pregnant but I was just wondering if this was normal to go from a fair bit of bleeding each month to nothing? Also I bled excessively for the first 6 months so the doc gave me the pill aswell, but these ran out a couple of months ago and the excessive bleeding didnt come back so I havent had a repeat perscription as yet. Could not taking these for a couple of months also make my period not come.Ive read of women having no periods from the start or rarely, but not anyone whos just gone from all to nothing.
