Cerazette - periods and other options

Hello ladies
Ive just stopped taking cerazette after being on it for about 6 months, didnt like it for a few reasons, my period hasnt arrived after over a week, a bit scared im pregnant, but im sure it would be unlikely.....when will it return?!?!
Also can anyone suggest another option (other than condoms!), i cant take the combined pill as it causes migraines, and now want to stay away from the mini pill....my GP is useless and doesnt seem to have the time to discuss the options!

I didnt agree with cerazette either, your periods may be irregular for months after coming off the minipill, unfortunately, so dont fret too much just do a preg test if you are worried. I cant take combined pill either, but am taking a mini pill called femulen which has no side effects except breakthrough bleeding every month. There are also other mini pills, MicroNor, and another one i've forgotten. You could also have a coil (copper) or mirena, or an injection. hopethyat helps
