Implanon - irregular bleeding

Hi i had the implant inserted on May 22nd

I have been bleeding since

Is this normal?
I know that people can experience irregular periods but this is ridiculous now

i have been bleedind since i have had mine in to since over a year ago, i have been to the doctors numerec of times, they have just done another test on me to see if i am prone to blood clots, if i was you i'd get yourself checked out by the doctors x

i've had the implanon since febuary and for the first few months it was irregular and then i was put on a low does pill because it was really making me miserable this was called MARVALON it was amazing and levels out hormone levels i had no more periods until i was advised by my doctor that i hadnt let my body adapt to the implant i have so far been on my period for 2 months and its starting to really get to me again.

speak to ur doctor and see if they will perscribe marvalon,

Hi I have had my implant since July, I had a lovely light period the first month but then came on the next (only lightly still) but have not gone off yet, Im wondering whether to have it taken out as its as you say, ridiculous. I thought it was to prevent pregnancy, not sex altogether!

i have the implant too, i have irregular periods to some times its 2 times a month or i will bleed here and there and sometimes il miss a period ,so your not alone hopefully it will calm down x
