Moving away

Hey, next september i'll be moving away to go to university and my bf says that he wants to move with me. It's a bit of a long-distance relationship atm he lives about an hour away from me but we see each other fairly regularly. I know it's a long way away and there is a lot that could happen between now and then but I was just wondering if anyone's been in a similar situation and if there's any way he could move and live with me in accomodation suitable for a student budget
