New to the cambridge diet

Im new to this and the cambridge diet and I would like to know what are the best flavours for the shakes and soups? I would also like to hear how much ppl have lost on this diet, need some motivation!!!

Another newbie !

Hi everyone i am on Day 7 of the diet - got weighed today and lost 5lbs. Bit dissapointed cos when I did it 20 years ago I lost 10 lbs in the first week! Guess I'm a lot older now tho!
Keep going Fran it is hard but it WILL be worth it - by now you are probably well into it (you posted 17 days ago) so how are you doing?
My favourite shakes are the bannana, vanilla and mint choc. LOVE the porridge but don't want to eat it all the time in case I go off it.
As omebody else said earlier - WE CAN DO IT!

hi fran im on day 12 today i will, and so far my favorite shakes are vanilla,spicy tomatoe,veg,and i have the porrige at night. i lost 7 1/4lbs last monday my first week and 3cm from my waist ,im 15stone 2lb at start and i want to lose 4 stone to see what i look like then if i think i need to go down to 10 stone and dont look ill as ive been fat for so long,dont i sound confidant ,i have been on the net to read about the c d and all the pictures inspired me so good luck

Hi there, i have just started on the CD today i have 1.5 stone to lose, am already panicking, at the weekend i binged on loads of junk food as i knew that i would not being eating anything decent for a few weeks, then later read that you should try and cut down on your regular food before starting on CD aaarrrgghhh!!. Am also taking a slimming tea wu-long and Acai berry tablets to see if it will help speed up my weight loss - their natural so should not have any side effects?? i don't want to be on step 1 for 5 weeks before moving up to the next step....... I must say though i am not hungry and have had today 1 porridge which has a very weird taste to it and 1 soup, i have also had my green white meal and am supposed to have another soup, but to be honest, i am quite full!!! if you don't feel hungry should you still eat the recommended daily amount? i so want to do this...i have been moaning about how i look for 5 years, although its not a huge amount of weight it is still difficult nonetheless. It was great reading everyone's encouragement and words of wisdom, hopefully by the end of the week i will be whooping with joy!!!

Me too just started

I did the same as you. Binged on pizza and chocolate the day before and was shocked to hear I could start straight away, haha! It's gotta be done but feel a bit weird, weak and have headaches. Don't think I drink enough water but it's so hard. The chili soup was gross, cant eat it again. Not sure I dare trying the spicey tomato in case it taste the same, anyone tried it?

Hi, I'm also new to the Cambridge Diet - just completed day 4. I LOVE the chocolate shake and also like butterscotch and banana flavours. My fav soup so far is chicken & mushroom, it tastes like chicken flavour crisps...
I weighed myself this morning and i've lost 8lbs so far - so keep up the good work and dont be tempted - its really going to be worth it!! Good luck
