Can you use llyons golden syrup on the maple syrup diet

Hi, I am on day 3 of the the maple syrup diet and ran out of the maple syrup. I don't have time today to go to a shop that sells the maple syrup. Does anyone know if Llyons Golden Syrup works with this diet?
