Maple syrup diet aka master cleanse detox or lemon juice diet
Started My Master Cleanse on Monday 20th of July.... By mixing Half a lemon(freshley squeezed) with half a teaspoon of Cayenne Pepper(increase to taste, can be bought from Sainsburys £1.49) and 1 teaspoon of Maple Syrup(from Holland and Barrett, with a glass of Cold or Hot water... drink this 5-8 a day.... Now before i start i would just like to say that i am no doctor and am NOT giving anyone advice on how to do this, this is purely my experience and if you have health problems, or Suffering from Swine flu at the moment DO NOT do this.... This is a Detox not a diet, you will lose weight(because are consuming less than what you are supposed to) but will put the weight back on once you start.. it's not a bad thing but this can be controlled by eating healthy when you come of your 'FAST'...so don't worry...
i've been reasearching this everyday since i started and reading for hours and hours on which syrup to use, alot of people say that you should use the expensive version which costs about £34.99, as long as it's Grade B which is medium it will work... I purchased mine from Holland and Barrett for £4.49 and IT WORKS... just do not put alot.. the reason the Maple syrup is in this Detox is to level your sugar for the day, U must do a sea salt water flush which flushes all the Toxins that have piled on throughout the years ( imagine all the Mcdonalds fries burgers,smoke,deep friend food, fish and chips, cheesecake..u get the jist lol) it's a famous method of Colon cleansing used by many people.... you put approx 2 teaspoons in each glass( your supposed to have a quart of water with salt, a quart is 4 glasses) and gulp down the 4 glasses in the morning...within the next 20-30-40-60 mins you should feel your bowels moving... do this every morning... and drink laxative tea at night.....
DO NOT EAT ANYTHING WHILE YOU ARE ON THIS
DRINK ALOT OF WATER

Monday 20th July Day one: 65kg ( just started period)
Made my juice in the morning while at work and drank it, tastes like Ice tea but with a hint of cayenne pepper and lemon... by the way cayenne pepper speeds up your metabolism(research this), made another 2 glasses that afternoon.... went to the toilet ALOT which is good because it's all the toxins and waste coming out... got home and felt really dizzy and tired ....wanted to sleep but as soon as i had more juice i was absolutely fine.... didn't do any of the salt flush that day...
Tuesday 21st July Day two:
Woke up feeling AMAZING and had so much energy...not sure why... drank the lemon juice for the day and kind of felt hungry but just kept on drinking and drinking....did snack on an apple though( if you are hungry it is better that you eat a fruit as it does not affect the calories you are losing).... got through the day fine but felt hungry...so drank more water..did the salt water flush and didn't have any bowel movements at all ( i later found out that i didn't put enough salt in)... anywhoo went to sleep feeling very tired but surprisingly i didn't wake up once during the night and had a good nights sleep.....
Wednesday 22nd of July Day Three:
Weighed myself today : 60KG OH MY GOOD in 3 days i've lost 5 kg wooooohohhoooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooo my stomach feels flatter and my thighs are less wobbly... i do go to the gym for about half an hour but not anymore as you will not have enough energy
alot of it is Water weight but you do also lose fat.... anway drank the required amount while at work... did feel tired today and kept on looking up food online hoping this would stop me craving food... it did... especially if you google ( heart attack burger) check it out!!!!!!
anywhoo on my lunch breaks i just did sit ups a walked around..... and smoked a few ciggarettes here and there ( i know it's bad but what's a girl to do)????? Got home and felt even more tired and dizzy but i guess because i didn't drink anything for 2 hours ( boyfriend and friends think i'm a psycho......they won't be saying that when they see this body in a bikini wooooohooooooooooo) had the drink and felt completely fine...haven't done the lax tea yet because it stinks hahahaha but did drink the salt water and had a bit of bowel movement nothing extreme( i'm writing this on the 5th day as i have just made up this forum so didn't know that i must increase salt in water)...
Thursday 24th July Day Four: 60kg... no weight loss
Felt sluggish and extremely tired so made the drink and set off to go to work... i drink the Salt water at night rather than the morning....got into work and all i could think about was FOOODDD AND FOOOD AND FOOD i even youtubed how to make a steak and literally dribbled watching it..... did think about starving people in the world and how ungrateful i am for not taking advantage of the healthy food and just losing weight this way....i am happy though as well as losing the pounds i am clearing out trash from my insides that could eventually kill you ( autopsies show colons blocked up with 80% of toxins are a big factor in deaths, this info i researched and may not be 100% true so please check for yourselves) anway drank the afternoon away and went to the gym,, did a half an hour run and then went home and relaxed...( i had a crunchy bar, even felt guilty??? what the hell? Guilty over a bar that contains 126 calories when all i am consuming daily is approx 400 calories!!!!! i'm going nuts here aahhahaha
Got home and made the salt water Flush this time adding more salt... i wanted to puke because it's disgusting...tastes like chicken soup without the chicken or flavouring...eeeewwww ... managed 3.5 glasses and relaxed....about 20mins later the bowels were grooving away... got really excited as they've never moved like this.... went into the toilet about 6-9 times every 15 mins and PLEASE DO NOT READ THIS IF YOU ARE SQUEEMISH.. I HAVE TO WRITE IT, IT'S A JOURNAL PLUS ATLEAST YOU WILL KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT...... the stuff that came out was like an anal wee( sounds disgusting i know but it was a dark yellow colour and it came out with violence) i did feel happier once i saw the trash coming out...after the 9th time my bum bum was getting a bit sore now hahahahahahahahahaha but glad that i was at home when i did this... increase salt if you don't experience any bowel movement... your body does not hold onto salt so it will come out.... was very tired...... well what did i expect??? it's like giving birth 7 times in a row ,only kidding i'm sure that's much more painful and anal discharge is not a choice OK i'll stop now!!!!!!
