Cambridge diet

Hi, I am on day 4 of the cambridge diet and i am really finding it hard as all I am thinking about is food!! I have 4 stone to lose as I am obese and I am just seeking help and support and I am wanting peoples advice and helpfull hints in dealing with the cravings. Please send me some inspiration stories to help me cope!!!

Cambridge diet is really very difficult two month before I was on it and I really find it hard. The main problem is that its a low calories diet. The best way to drink lots of water in a day. I prefer to have water in my diet chart as it helps in avoiding dehydration. Hope it will help you.

I too am on the CD. Day 3 to be precise! And have a similar amount of weight to lose. Please please stick at it! Feeling like this will deffo subside by the end of next week. I've done the diet before and so I know

You will feel amazing after that first weigh in. Yo uwill realise just how soon you will be able to lose your 4 stone. You will be slim and amazing wayyyy before xmas. Picture how it will be!! Christmas being slim!!

Keep me updated on your results and I'll do the same if you're interested??? It's really cool to have a weight loss "buddy"

As for advice.
Try drinking more water, you will get sick of hearing this!! I myself drink 500ml bottles fizzy water as I prefer it and I save my bottle tops on the side and make sure I have at least 6-8 at the end of each day!! Bit silly but it works for me!!

Also try the mix a mouse if you haven't already as it makes it feel a bit less like your being punished on liquids!!! Also heating up choc shakes are nice, like a hot choc! Drink quickly tho as I think there are heat soluble vits in there.

Stay in touch with your counciler and ring them if you are just about to put something into your mouth!! They should be very helpful and afterall, you are paying for the support.

When I was on this diet before I lost 2 and a half stone very very quickly, I lost 12 pounds in my first week. I was a size 12 at the end and felt very happy. I put weight back on through my own laziness.

Hi Adele,

Thanks for your message it really gave me some encouragement to sick at it. I had my first weigh in today and I have lost 9 pound!!! I am feeling so good and proud of myself.

It has been really hard and I have to admit that I did have a little slip on thursday and I had a ham salad with abit of mayo which has took me out of ketosis!! so I really have to be very strict with myself this week, just need to lose 6 pound this week to get to my first stone!

Have you had your first weigh in yet? how much have you lost? is it just me or do you find yourself really thirsty all of the time and do you get headaches?

Nevermind about the slip, put it behind you.

I've had a tough week. I was due for my weigh in on Monday but this was my birthday. My fiance supriced me with a trip away so I had my weigh in on Sat morning. I lost 10 pounds Not bad in 5 days!!!

But then I went off the diet as I kinda felt I had to as he had gone to all the trouble of taking me away. Ooooops.
Never mind. I am right back on it today tho and can only hope I haven't put the whole ten pounds back on! It is likely tho
I'm not really disheartened. It was stupid but now I'm going to carry on as normal. I'll let you know on Monday just how much damage I did!!!

I don't find my self thirsty all the time actually (when I'm sticking to it I mean!). Or hungry. I could quite happily have nothing at all. This is kinda bad. End up forcing my shakes down me when I really don't feel like them!!

I do get headaches tho .bad ones sometimes. They can be helped with more water and regular pain killers xx
