I'm a guy and haven't been to this forum before but this is what worked for me: Because I'm a programmer I spend a lot of time at the computer sitting down. Over the years I've put on more weight and haven't had the time to get it off.
Anyway, to cut a long story short I got to use a dancemat on the computer. I didn't think they were any good but I tried it and I thought it was a good way to get fit. I kept having to move and it made my heartrate go up.
Because I didn't like the music I thought about making my own game and so I did. I tried to make it more fun and easy to use the dancemat when I've got a free 5 minutes. Over the last few months I've begun to feel better.
If anyone's considering it I would recommend a dancemat because they are cheap, easy to use and safe for everyone. You can find my game at http://dmfitnessblog.wordpress.com/ and let me know what you think. I'd like to know if any other people have used any exercise games?
