Dieting help needed

Hi,
I'm 21 almost 22, and I have been overweight for pretty much as long as I can remember. It's always bothered me at the back of my mind but it's only recently that it has become a real problem for me personally. I have a great set of friends, and have always actually been quite popular but this doesn't take away the fact that inside it is making me miserable. I'm 5'7" and around 16st, and desperately want to try and shed some of the weight. I guess ideally at first I'd like to try and lose 3 stone although I know that isn't going to be that easy. I am working on a healthy eating plans, although my main problem will no doubt be when it comes to drinking - being a student with the end of exams looming it is going to be v hard to resist those afternoons in the pub.
I just thought I would come on here to maybe find others who are going through the same, or to speak to people to have dieted and succesfully lost weight.
Thanks
xx

Hi,
Don't know whether you like tea, but perhaps you could try weight loss teas. You're supposed to drink 3 cups a day and they are supposed to help with weight loss, cholesterol and digestion. I've bought some from a shop on ebay called Fusion Trading. They are the cheapest ones i've found on ebay. The links attached. I have tried original pu-erh but this is strong and earthy and not my taste, I prefer orange pu-erh which is easier to drink. They way I drink it is i let the orange pu-erh tea go cold in the fridge and drink it as an iced tea with pieces of fresh orange in it. That way i don't feel like i'm drinking tea, just a soft drink with fruit. Unfortunately i'm a lager drinker so i've put on a bit of weight from that so i'm trying to be good by drinking iced tea instead. I only began a week ago, but i don't feel as bloated as i used to and my face skin has lost some of the blotches i had. I bought 4 boxes which they say lasts for 5 weeks at 14.99.
I know its not as good as drinking alcohol but you never know.
Anyway, past my bedtime......take care and good luck....
Thanks for listening..
