Hi
Hi Tracey
I'm a complementary therapist and specialize in weight and addictions. My own weight problems started when I was a teenager and it's only now I'm in my 30s that I've finally got it under control.
I have worked on my own issues with food and over eating. I no longer obsess about food and eat what I want. I've lost weight slowly and steadily, don't weigh myself (threw away the scales al long time ago) but am a size 14/16 (did weigh 16 stone). And I'm happy!
I've tried many diets - WW, calorie counting, Atkins, Eat Right 4 Your Type, Carol Voderman's detox - but after each attempt I would gain weight back.
I was eating to fill a void in my life and was very unhappy. It took me a long time to work out that stuffing my face with food didn't take away my emotional problems.
The most amazing discovery that I found (and which I employ in my therapy) is EFT. It's based on accupuncture only that you tap meridian points instead of inserting needles. This balances your energy and you can use this system to rid yourself of cravings, turn negative self beliefs into positive statements and literally free yourself.
The tapping part is really quite astounding. It's quick and easy and can turn around the way you feel about food and weight loss. Depending on the emotional issues involved it can take one session or several but generally results are quick and permanent.
If you want to know more about EFT, visit my website (www.efthealing.co.uk) for a free guide. It gives you the basics to work with - why not give it a try on a craving perhaps?
If you have any questions send me an e-mail, I'd love to help.
Blessings
Lyn
