Hi,
Does have anyone have any surgestions on what diet to try first. I want to lose a bit of waight. But my life style always lets me down, Working long hours and then partying so as you guessed i end up with fast foods or quick snacks. I also have a lot of drink which don't help, could i drink anything other then beer? would this help?

Beer is not good

Beer is so full of carbohydrates which will play havock with your sugar levels making you crave snacks etc. Heres a few suggestions - Not to everyones taste but wine is much better for you it has very little carbs, if any at all and obviously the red has certain health benefits. I think if you have a love for alcohol then you should try limiting it for a couple of weeks before embarking on a diet. Try making some healthy choices instead ie. if at the kebab shop for the drunk food have a chicken kebab with pure breast meat not only will it be much lower in fat but the protein will help you stay fuller for longer as it is harder to digest. Also I'm not a bible basher or anything like that but one comment was made to me that really stuck in my head. I was eating an apple and was told that fruit is God's Fast Food. It makes perfect sense don't you think. I tell you what its a heck of a lot cheaper that a sausage roll! Every snack bar and coffee shop nowadays sells fruit so there isin't any excuse.
