Anyone doing slimfast?

Hi, is anyone doing Slimfast? I have tried WW and SW, but all the weighing and pointing drives me mad, so I am doing the Slimfast shakes. Got about a stone to lose, maybe 2 would be beter, lol! Typical days eating for me is breakfast- shake, lunch--shake or salad, dinner--normal dinner with loads of veg.

It worked for me but ...

I "did" Slimfast about 8 years ago, very successfully, and lost about 14lbs BUT have to admit I am not so successful with it now because nearly all their products are "sweetie" things. Apart from a long-time natural aversion to milkshakes, I am not a natural eater of choc/muesli bars, and really, really, can't stand smoothies! Years ago they used to do the pasta and soups but have discontinued those. If you are a savoury rather than sweet eater, the current Slimfast is going to be near impossible.
However I am going to have another shot at it as I am not at an age where if I don't shift the excess now I stand no chance when I am older.
Will let you know - but good luck!

Back on it after a 2 day break

i started it today , how long have you been on the diet, any tips i would like to loose a stone.

pauline thanks

Could i do the slimfast with slimlike?

Slimfast

hi pauline are youm still on the slimfast - i started it yesterday.

do you want a diet buddy if you are still doing it?

I'm doing slimfast!

Hi, I'm doing slimfast!! I have finally excepted that I do not have any willpower when It comes to choosing which foods to have, so with slimfast I know 'what I see is what I get'.
I quite like the shakes but a little concerned about the suger content, hopefully though slimfast will curb my appetite and give me the boost to diet properly. Possibly a two part diet/healthy eating approach?. Anyway goog luck, stick with it.!

A slimfast first for me

Hiya, yes I started Simfast on the 15th January, 09 and did find the first week quite hard to get through. I usually have a shake for breakfast, a meal replacement for lunch and a normal dinner, but I do have fruit and one of there snack treats at lunchtime as well. So far I have lost nearly a stone in weight but finding it hard now to lose anymore, personally I would love to lose another stone.

My work colleagues are doing SW and doing quite well, but like you, I can't be bothered to keep weighing and using their points system.

Iam going to keep at it as long as I can, good luck to you as well.

Slim fast

thought I would let you know about a product which is coming to the UK end of November beginning of December called Celebrity Slim. It is very similar to slim fast however there is a more variety of flavours in both the shakes and soup.

Simply you have a shake for breakfast the mid morning friut, shake or soup for lunch, afternoon snack of fruit or half a Celebrity Slim bar. Normal balanced dinner and some more fruit for supper. You end up eating about 6 times per day.

It really works and the starter packs comes with assorted flavours so you won't get bored on the same flavour and you can mix shakes and soup and bars. It really works!!! The expected weight loss in the first week is 2-8 pounds, then 2 approx 2 pounds per week thereafter.

Slim

Go look at www.slimtea.co.uk it workes great for me

Im doing slimfast !

Hi, ive started SlimFast today.I have done SW and have lost weight but wanted to try something different snd hopefully faster?! Im going to Majorca at the end of August and would love to lose 1-1 1/2 stone by then?
Today ive had a shake for breakfast and enjoying a snack bar now! Dont know how im gunna get on with it as im used to eating loads of pasta, friut, veg as on SW. I will persevere for the next 4 weeks and see what happens!

Sort of...

I tried Slimfast and just couldn't do it, so now I make cookies using the powder as a flavouring. Oh dear, this is an old thread. I feel like a ninny.

The slimfast diet

yes im on it at the min i have 3 shakes a day with fruit between shakes. Ive been on it 2 weks now and lost nothing even though ive been exercising for an hour a day its frustrating.

Reply to slimfast post

ive done slimfast b 4 but i never stuck to it long enuff as i was doing it on my own
anyway i am starting the slimfast diet again tomorrow i will be doing the shake breakfast and lunch and then 600cal dinner
the only problem i have is doing a 6oo cal recipe for the dinner so if you have any suggestions id be rel greatful
thanks denise

Split your calories

Hiya, I usually find eating 600 in one go can either be too much and look as if there is loads on my plate and then end up feeling guilty. Try eating 400 for a meal and 200 for a treat or snack later in the evening when I normally feel hungry. Hate going too bed on an empty stomach! I must admit of not being a great cook but weight watchers cookbook is idael for following low calorie meals and snacks. No need to worry about calorie and fat content as everything is counted for you. Hope this is a wee help and will look uo menus if you tell me the food groups you like and dislike. Also have trained in health and fitness. so any exercise tips you need will gladly answer if possible.

Hi

slilmfast is good but when you reach your target weight and you stopped taking slimfast and weigh will start to creep back up and its waste of time, just stick to normal foods just 3 meal a day and if you feels so hungry eat apple or drink water and your weight will drop off.

Works for me but.....

I've lost weight with SlimFast on more than one occasion but I find it difficult to maintain the weightloss once I come off the plan. The chocolate shakes are YUMMY aren't they??

Slimfas really does work if used correctly

hi, i started using slimfast on 4th january, i logged onto thier website and got loads of help, weight charts, menus, bmi, buddies.
also joined the american site which i found amazing, and followed the regime, i soon got into the swing of it and less than 3 months later i am 34 lbs less than i was before i started. a great tip is get a photo from before you start or started slimfast, blow it up on the computer and print it out, then take one a few weeks later and do the same and put them together and see the difference.i was 20 stone 4 lb last september, and 19 stone 2 at christmas. i now weigh in at 16 stone 10 and still have a long way to go , but thanks to slimfast i know that i can do it.
let me know how you are doing

Slim fast

I intend to start the slimfast diet tomorrow,I am looking to lose 2 stone but want a quick start.
