like you, im also 16 slim but i am still totally obsessed about my body. My stomach imparticualr, when i start getting a bit of a 'belly' its one of those ' my whole life is coming to an end' sort of feelings. and also like your self im trying to get into the right determined frame of mind for my holiday in august. You want to feel like you can walk down the beach feeling totally sexy and confident right? well seriously i've noticed a huge difference from cutting down on drinking (alchol and fizzy drinks) alchol just piles on the pounds. And if you snack the less you do that the flatter your stomach will be come. have regular meals, people think that by skipping meals will make you slimmer, well it all catches up on you, you'll just find your self snacking on smaller things which ends up being the same amount of calories as a normal meal probably. Its all about getting your proportions right, eating the right amount of carbs, cut back slightly on bread, cheese and pasta if your a big fan. Once you've hammered your diet then bring in the exercises. dieting slims you down, the exercise will give you shape. I noticed a huge difference on my stomach when i started doing situps every night, and along with going to the gym and doing aerobics theres no better way to get a flat tonned stomach. Stomach crunches are the best (lifting you legs crossed in the air) do slow sit ups in this postion, the more controlled they are, the better they work. Then do pulses (quicker ones ) which really contracts the muscles, and do one where you touch the oposite leg with your oposite elbow that gets the side muscles in your abz. you pericing is in no way affecting you weight while you diet, i think its a real incentive getting a belly button pericing as you want to show it off, but only with a nice flat stomach so good move ! just remember it your stomach wont change over night, it does take a while and thats why people always give up. But once you've mastered your way of eating and become more healthy and active and start noticing the difference you will feel so determined! i have my role models pinned to my wall to keep me motivated check out adriana lima shes got a fab body! im really motivated because i know that i wont enjoy my holiday if i dont feel happy with my body (as sad as it may sound ) so if your like me, then just do it for your self and go for it. soo hope it all goes well, and hope you look fab for your holiday ! lucy x x x
