How do i get on the cambridge diet
Hi all, I am trying to find out how to get on the Cambridge diet, I have been on their website and emailed a counsellor in my area and no one every contact me.....is there another way of getting in touch with someone???

hi, YES it does get easier, im day 5 and day 1 and 2 were awful i was tempted to nearly cheated. BUT i am now on day five and i dont feel hungry and keep wieghing myself and weight is coming off. I feel my stomach is much tighter! So hang in there!

It does get easier once you are in ketosis and the secret is water - drink as much at least 3litres, if you can drink more the better

Hi everyone I thought I would join this forum for support!I started the Cambridge today, not to bad is it? I love the chocolate milkshake yum yum!! not to keen on the vinilla!! How is everyone progressing? I wana loose 4 stone!!!

Hi, I read and read about this famous CD but I cannot find anywhere the "rules..." of this diet.. Can anybody explain it to me please??? I am new... does it realy work???

hi just out of intrest what did your councellor say about having coke zero as mine has said its definatly a no go.

My counsellor also said a no no because it does contain calories and it's gassy so will fill u up then leave u empty. However I have had a can yesterday and I found it helped the nasty taste in my mouth! Weighed myself and still lost 5lb in two days so can't be that bad 4 u I suppose!!?? What did your counsellor say?

Coke zero
hi firstly well done for doing so well, i have lost 2 stone but cant seem to shift another pound ,my councellor said this sometimes happens but im not happy. she is also still saying a big no to the coke zero but i might try a can away. im so bored of water. keep up the good work.

Does it get easier?
hi, i have been on the sole source programme for 4 weeks today and i have lost 24lbs, the key is as you proberbly know is water , water and yes more water, try to drink at least 4litres a day this will curb your hunger and help towards preventing any side effects such a headaches, light headiness and in my case moodiness. try to keep occupied as much as you can ,this will stop you thinking your hungry or thinking about food.i have found this diet alot easier than i thought it would be and im sure you will to. just think about the new slimmer ,fitter you this summer. and keep picturing yourself the size you want to be. im starting the 790 step tomorrow and im dreading it in case i over eat, but i quess its got to be willpower again. just remember the all important point, you have a counsellor at the end of the phone so feel free to call them if you have any queries thats what they are there for. sorry to have draged on and all the best i know you will do well.

Hi I have been on sole source for 11 days and lost nearly a stone! in between you can drinkthe coke zero - blak can! u can drink up to 3 cansa day . and fills u up! i find if i make the shake into crisps this helps too xx

Hi thanks 4 the reply a stone in 11 days... nice work! I phoned my consellor to ask about the coke zero and she said it does have calories in it, r u sure I'm ok 2 have a can I think this would definately help fill me up. x x

It gets easier!
Hi, im now on the 790 calories step, i started this diet at the beginning of march weighing 12stone 12lbs. I now weigh 10stone 7lbs and still losing! It does get easier - just drink loads - water is key in this diet and keep busy for the first week. After 2 weeks you can start eating the bars once a day - that helps as you feel like you are actually eating something. I did 4 weeks on sole source, then did add a meal for 1 week, and now am staying put on 790-1000 till i reach 10stone. I havent felt tired or weak at all, and very rarely am hungry unless i havnt drunk enough. The main advice i'd give is make sure you always eat your 3 meals a day - even when u get onto 790calories as they give you all the vitamins and nutrients etc you need each day. Good luck! Hi, thanks 4 the reply its nice 2 have some support and you've all given real reassuring replies. Welldone on the weight loss, u must feel fab! Do you have support at home? I'm finding it really hard because I have 2 cook tea for my mum, stepdad and my 2 sisters, which obviously in the first week is driving me mad!! But my boyriend, and family just keep saying just eat something you'll pile it back on when u start eating again anyway!! Which is making me more determined 2 prove them wrong!!! I just have to find a way 2 stay positive.x x x x
