Packing my lunch

I'm 17 and I'm going to start college again next week. Last year, my first year at college I put on quite abit of weight before dropping out and getting a full time job which helped me lose the extra I had gained in college. But my downfall at college the first time was alway what I ate so this year I'm planning on ruling out this problem by packing myself a lunch so I won't be tempted to any burgers or chocolate. I have 1 stone 9 pounds to lose to be my overall target weight. I'm trying my best to do it in the most healthy ways I can so can anymore suggest any lunch ideas? I don't want to get bored, but being rasied on mircowave food and anything processed and quick I'm not the most inventive of people when it comes to food...Please help

Tempting to pack it with crisps and biccies

Hi

I have a similar problem with my little girl. She is starting school tomorrow and I am trying to make her packed lunch box healthy and interesting.

It is much easier to simply shove a bag of crisps and biscuits into your lunch box but they are not worth it, especially if you want to feel good about your self.

Tortilla wraps are great. You can fill them with chicken, salad and salsa and then roll them up. Add a low fat yogurt, a piece of fruit and some nuts (almonds) and that is a nice easy lunch.

They key is not to be too worried about what you 'should' be eating or you will not enjoy your lunch any more and will be tempted to go to the refectory area and grab some chips.

Try and do some high intensity excercise on a morning before you go to college.

I am literally talking about 10 to 12 mins 3 times per week (that's all I do).

What this does is speed up your metabolism and literally burn off your fat even when you are in class studying.

I promise that within weeks you will feel much better about yourself and notice a huge difference with your weight and you will become much more shapley.

I hope that you do well in your new term)

Jen
